A lovely late 1980s Mappin and Webb Akoya pearl necklace with 18carat gold clasp in orignal box with Mappin & Webb logo and blue velvet interior. There are 56 pearls and each pearl is 6.5-7mm diameter with a high polished lustre and shine, with a rich colour. They have been in the orignal box for the last 40 years and rarely worn, so they are in pristine, "like new" condition.
